Route starts from Salivoli harbour.

Isle of Capraia
It is the furthest North of all the islands of the Tuscan archipel. Plenty of coves (Cala Rossa - of natural origin from the collapse of part of a volcanic crater). The historic harbour and the village are within 10 minutes walk from the landing. Vegetation displays stretches of Mediterranean wood and traces of the Spanish dominion are still detectable in the ruins of castles and towers. There is a natural lake situated on a plateau to be reached on foot with views of the entire archipel.

Northern Corsica
Located at 18 miles from the Isle of Capraia, this place is the very land's end on the northern part of Corsica. Dominated by a cliff called Giraglia, providing a natural buoy for the famous regatta, it can be used as a starting point for a cruise to Saint Florent (15 miles) along the western coast, touching Centuri, crisp white sandy beaches and bays. Sailing southward from the East, we come to the harbour of Macinaggio (5 miles) and the fascinating town of Bastia (10 miles).

Just 25 miles off the coast of Capraia and Bastia, the island is the largest of the Tuscan Archipelago. The first harbour arriving from the North is Marciana Marina, with its majestic watch tower overlooking the bay, dating back to 1100. The harbour provides a wide range of landings for tourists and it is shadowed by the massive Monte Capanne with the villages of Marciana Alta and Poggio. Sailing east, the coast enlarges and gives place to the gulfs of Procchio and Enfola where bays, beaches, rocks and crystal clear water make a natural holiday picture and a romantic shelter for you to spend the night.
Set sail again and you will arrive at Portoferraio, an enormous natural bay dominated by the solid profile of Fortezza Medicea overlooking the town and by the ruins of a Roman villa, the very first settlement in the area. In Portoferraio you'll find two private fully-equipped marinas and a new marina inside the old town's harbour: a unique setting.
